Yr 6 Leaders Meet Bishop Peter
On the 2nd of March, Grace, David, Nate and Ava from Year 6, Mr Rafferty and two mums went to Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral at Waitara. Bishop Peter taught us about ‘Good Power’ and ‘Bad Power’ and also taught us how to use power in a good way.
We talked to children from other schools from different areas and participated in lots of activities. We celebrated Mass together in the cathedral and led the Prayers of Petition. We learnt how to improve our leadership skills by working as a team with other schools to build up our abilities as leaders.
It was a wonderful experience for all of us.
