Project Feathertail Glider As part of Project Feathertail Glider, students have engaged in a diverse range of learning experiences, including learning about the biology of the glider, exploring and developing habitat, monitoring and collecting data on local fauna on cameras and creating a campaign product to motivate the community to help. The students’ have joined forces with Taronga Zoo, Northern Beaches Council and the Office of Environment and Heritage to inspire community members to act now and make a difference to the plight of the world’s smallest gliding mammal.
